We welcome a new member

We would like to welcome Blaze Pollard to the MayerMedia team. Blaze will be joining the team as "the Intern". He recently graduated High School and wanted to get his foot in the door of web development so he came to us. He is going to be helping us with several different things and learning new tricks along the way. You never know maybe he'll be running the company in a few years.
I also wanted to mention that our manager of web development Cory Erickson has left the company. Cory has recently moved to England to pursue other adventures. We wish him all the best and he will be greatly missed as a key member of our team.

MayerMedia Deisgn Studio has teamed up with the biggest breakbeat duo in the UK. The Stanton Warriors have been at the forefront of the European electronic music scene since their formation in 1998. They have released scores of original tracks, and remixes for some of the most prestigious names in the industry, including Basement Jaxx, the Chemical Brothers, and the Gorillaz. With their music, Mark and Dom have solidified themselves as a global fixture in the electronic music scene worldwide. After reviewing their current site, both MayerMedia and the Warriors saw a need for a complete overhaul of their online presence. A few weeks of phone conversations, and dealing with the 7 hour time difference, have brought us to the conclusion of the artistic stage of the development process. We are very excited about the upcoming launch, and have high expectations for the end product. Be on the lookout for big things from these guys. After winning "Best DJ" category at the yearly awards ceremony, Breakspoll, two weeks ago, and a new full length album slated for release later this year, there is no doubt that a fresh site is the most critical element of their marketing and branding campaign.
A New Year Brings a New Website.

Well the time is finally here... The new site is here!! After hours and hours of work our new vision and new rebranding is finally here. We are very excited about our new site and can't wait to keep updating it with new features, new projects, and many other exciting things. I'll be sure to update everyone when we have added new features and things.

It's your friendly neighborhood Creative Director, Chris Wilson. I have some exciting news in the Mayer Hosting & Consulting camp that I thought I'd share with you. Mayer Hosting & Consulting will officially be changing our name to MayerMedia Design Studio. The official date of this name change will be January 2nd, 2008 along with the launch of our new website. We are very excited about the upcoming year and have a lot of cool stuff in the works. We hope you will share this excitement with us and we look forward to working with you under our new name.
